Very interesting book learning about Norse mythology

[[VIDEOID:7344b883988035ac60956baa33cff02a]] I'm very visual and like to pick my books not only on the content but also if the cover grabs my attention, and this one definitely did. I originally was interested in Norse mythology because of how passionate a professor of mine was about the topic. I found this book and it is the perfect beginners guide for sure. It has just the right amount of information and gives a solid foundation which you can decide to leave it as that or dig deeper. I am also checking out Lucas Russo's other books since I enjoyed this one so much.

Poorly written. Repeats the same stories. Only cites web pages. Map and pictures are also from websites. Better info out there

I found this book very difficult to read because the informal tone was so off-putting. It's hard to tell if this is a long high school writing assignment or a serious effort to impart knowledge of Norse mythology. Why does the author inject himself into the narrative at all?? It's not like he was alive when any of the myths came into being. And what do the endless statements of opinion have to do with the subject matter? It's a shame; I really wanted to enjoy reading this and learn something, but it was too poorly written to finish. If the spirit moves me, I'll look for a book written by an author with academic credentials who knows how to write on this sort of topic.

Really enjoyed Lucas Russo's book and felt connected to the author's enthusiasm and joy for Norse Mythology. Highly recommend.

Cannot wait to read this book 📚📖

One thing I did not realize when buying this book is the pictures on the inside of it. It has great little diagrams that will help the reader understand what was written. I highly recommend this book especially if you are new to Norse mythology.
