Want Ad Wedding (Cowboy Creek)

Cheryl St. John is known for her wonderful characters and emotional stories and she is spot on with Want Ad Wedding. This is a very sweet, inspirational story. I loved the characters. I was disappointed when I reached THE END because I wanted to keep reading about these people I'd grown to love. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. This was a great introduction to the town and characters to come in future stories. I can't wait to read the rest of them.

A wonderful read. The "mail-order bride" may be a familiar trope in the romance genre, but Ms. St. John adds a wonderful twist to the story - the bride is pregnant! Emotionally satisfying.

Book was in great condition, really fun story!

Cheryl is just one of my favorite authors and she did not fail me with this book. I thoroughly enjoyed Leah's story and the way Cheryl tells it. I am really looking forward to the books to follow in this series both written by a couple of my favorite authors. The second is "Special Delivery Baby" by Sherri Shackelford (which I already have by the way) and "Bride by Arrangement" by Karen Kirst due out June 7, 2016. You can't lose my reading this book/series!

I've never read anything by St John so I wasn't really sure what I was getting in for but I really enjoyed her book! I really felt like Leah's character was really well developed and went through a lot of growth in the book. I enjoyed the friendships she cultivated and how her relationship with Daniel evolved. I'm really looking forward to whatever comes next in this series. I'm hoping that Will and Nate each get a book!

Want Ad Wedding is the first book in a trilogy by different authors about Cowboy Creek.
Cheryl St. John does a wonderful job of describing the creation of Cowboy Creek and intermingling it with the story of one of its three founders. By covering the history of Daniel Gardner , she also covers the history of the nation and shows how it affected the people. It is a classic base story line of mail- order brides but it is so much more. It has mystery,adventure, and romance as well as the history. I can hardly wait to read the next story .

Want Ad Wedding is full of charming characters you can't help root for. When childhood friends, Leah and Daniel, find themselves unexpectedly meeting after Leah answers a want ad for mail-order brides in the post Civil War boomtown of Cowboy Creek, Kansas, Daniel knows the only acceptable thing to do is ask her to marry him. Leah agrees to the proposal as a practical arrangement, after all, she is fond of Daniel and needs the security of marriage for her unborn child. This is another great book by Cheryl St John. This is the first in a series of three in the Cowboy Creek story. This is a story of friends being reunited after many years & tragic events. Leah came to town as a widowed mail order bride. Upon arrival see is reunited with friends from her past & she marries one of those men. The story shows the trust they have to build to be truthful to each other of their tragic pasts. Once the trust is built, they are truly in love & ready to build a family. A special love story. It shows what we can overcome to find true love.

The sweet moments between Daniel and Leah, and the undercurrents between them, shine the most in this sweet story of second chances. A heartwarming, romantic story for fans of Christian romance and sweet historical Western romance.

The setting of this small town romance series leaves us with a nice set up for future books. Looking forward to reading more from Cowboy Creek.
