I chose this book because it showed many pictures of the anatomy. It shows the position, and superimposes a sketch of the ligaments/bones inside the person. This helps me to understand what is supposed to be happening inside.

This book will get you far in yoga.

This book is written in the Sivananda style. Wholesome and well-designed. It is written in an easy way, explaining basic meditation, yoga
asanas, and basic dietary principles of the yogi.

One point I am a bit confused about is that the book says if you are doing chakra meditation, you should use the mantra for that chakra and
do not change the chakra you focus on. I think it is not really that big a deal, however, the Sivananda Yoga Centre thinks it is.
