She’s been blessed to write more than forty books since that first one, and is always madly in love with her latest hero.

Features & Highlights

  • Time isn’t always on a vampire’s side....
  • Iolanthe Tennyson has had a very bad year—due in part to the very bad men in her life. So she’s accepted her cousin’s invitation to spend the summer in Austria to indulge her photography hobby. Rumors of a haunted forest there draw Iolanthe into the dark woods—and into the eighteenth century....Nikola Czerny is a cursed man, forced by his half brothers to live forever as a Dark One. But his miserable existence takes an intriguing turn when a strange, babbling woman is thrown in his path. Iolanthe claims to know Nikola’s daughter—three hundred years in the future. She also knows what fate—in the form of his murderous half brothers—has in store for him. If only she knew the consequences of changing the past to save one good, impossibly sexy vampire...

An excellent read!! I highly recommend!!

A Sensational read!! Exceptionally well written. First of all I loved how this story made me laugh from the beginning thru to the very end. The banter between Io and Nikola when they would communicate telepathically with each other was very entertaining! I loved that about this book. The romance was whimsical. I wish I was Io! And Nikola, wow! I want a man like him!! Tall, muscular, desirable and very handsome!! Over all a wonderful read and highly recommended! Thank you for such a great book Katie!!

Note: I was given this book from the author (through goodreads.com). I was in no way required to write a review. This is strictly my own honest review.

Wanted to like this...

I really did want to like this book it had potential, but right from the begining there was to much babbling from the heroine. I had to force myself to finish this book and it did get to confusing towards the end and left to many unanswered questions and I agree with some of the others reviewers that Io was very immature. This was the first book I ever read by this author not sure if I want to read any others. I'm glad I didn't buy this book luckily I checked it out at the library.

Liked A Tale of Two Vampires

Overall, the book was well written, but like everyone else who didn't like it, I
had a lot of questions. I think it was the paradox thing that got me. (spoiler alert) Like, if the dark ones are immortal, what happened to Nikola and Io in modern times. I know they went back, but where are they in modern times. Maybe she's going to write more on them and left it open. At least, I hope she writes
more on them.

It held my attention.

This is the story of Benedikt's father. It involves time travel, beloveds and some pretty awesome chemistry. I'm a huge fan of Katie's and I try to read all of her books. This one was pretty good; I didn't even put it down.
