Hilarious Book with an Essential Moral!

Somehow I never read this book as a child. I never read it to my children. That will not be the case with my grandchildren. Pierre doesn't care about anything. His parents have to deal with his "I don't care" day in and day out. That is, until a hungry lion arrives when Pierre's parents are away. Needless to say, what happens next will certainly change Pierre's attitude for the better. Highly recommended!

Pierre! He finally cares.

When I substitute teach in classrooms this book is a HIT with every grade K-5. Once kids see the pattern. I have one help me, or the whole class joins in with the "I don't care" parts. Grades K-3 love it the most. Its a very quick read if you need to fill about 10 minutes.
