Thought provoking!

This book is so good! Whether you are just beginning your journey into the poetry world or you are a long time poetry lover, you will enjoy this book. Such thought provoking, sentimental poems. You can tell she writes from her heart. I used to write poetry all the time, and now reading this has inspired me to start writing again. Although the poetry my 16 year old self versus the poetry my 36 year old self writes will probably be drastically different. Thank you so much for writing this. I will for sure be picking up future books!!

It’s okay, I guess

I was a little disappointed honestly, the poems are very short and have almost no detail to them.

Cover has the worst texture :( buy the e-book instead

I am literally begging authors/publishers to stop using weird textures on the covers of books!!! Saw some of the poems online and decided to buy the book. I should've bought the e-book because I have sensory issues due to Autism and can't stand the feel of the textured cover and haven't been able to touch it since taking it out of the packaging. I'm sure it's great, I love poetry, I WANT to read it, but I am physically repulsed by this weird grainy sandpaper-like texture the author or publisher chose :(

Two stars because I liked what I saw on the author's social media account but I can't touch the damn book with my bare hands or else I'll feel like I have to rip my skin off. I am literally begging y'all to consider people with sensory processing disorder when it comes to books. This isn't the first time a book I've wanted turned out to have a textured cover that makes me want to scrub my skin off and it's really disappointing and frustrating

A Guide to Relationships

I’ll be the first to admit that I sometimes avoid books that gain popularity because I tend not to like what ‘the masses’ likes. BUT I picked this one up and I think I might be coming around!

I can only describe this book as a rollercoaster of all the bitter and sweet things love has to offer—and heartbreak as well. The way Catarine words her poems feels like a hybrid between a poetry book and, say, a romance novel where the female lead goes through a couple partners before she finds her happy ever after.

Even as someone who can say they haven’t been in love or had their heart broken, my inner romantic was SCREAMING. The mix between sad poems, love poems, angry poems, and self-love poems were interwoven so smoothly.

The book itself has a beautiful aesthetic and Catarine has an incredible way with words! An incredible read!

Starts kinda slow.

Book is kinda repetitive but it's a decent read. Enjoyable enough.
