Bad Kitty's Very Very Bad Boxed Set (#2): Bad Kitty Meets the Baby, Bad Kitty for President, and Bad Kitty School Days

These aren't like the books my 3 year old reads from the library. They are long, black and white, and printed on thin paper. I bought them for Christmas, so we didn't realize in time and now we are stuck with them due to missing the return date. Pretty disappointed, but I hope this review will help others who might think they're appropriate for young kids.

I bought these for my classroom and I'm so disappointed! I recently asked my students for suggestions of chapter books they would like me to purchase and read aloud. Bad Kitty seemed like a popular vote. I started reading it today and I was mortified to find that I was reading aloud a book that implied cuss words by writing in "#&@$." It was written several times in the book. Why would they even imply cuss words in a children's book?!?!

My daughter loves these books. She's a 7 year old who loves to read and she finds these easy to read, fun, and interesting. I think they have cute story lines and they allow kids to practice reading chapter books and put their nonsense words and sounding out/phonics skills to use.

This series is WONDERFUL! My 7-year-old son has FINALLY gotten interested in reading, thanks to this book series! THANK YOU, Bad Kitty! :)

I was not familiar with the Bad Kitty stories, and ordered them because my granddaughters fancy cats. When I got this set I initially assumed they would be too advanced for my 6 year old granddaughters,but tried them out anyway. They love the stories, clearly understand them, get the jokes, are amused with the pictures, and always ask for some more "chapters" when I read to them at night. And they are learning a lot; e.g., they now understand about presidential candidates, primaries, campaigns, etc. from the Bad Kitty for president book... they even have debates about whether he will win the election,and their bets are that he will!

Bought this series for my 8 year grand daughter. She loves it! If you have a kitty lover in your family this series is awesome for new readers.

My daughter has a crazy maniacal cat whom she is introducing gradually to her 1 year old. She and her husband can enjoy the books satirical views now, and later, my granddaughter will be able to enjoy them too.

Son loves Bad Kitty. He hates to read so I bought all Bad Kitty books in hopes he would try reading more. I do not really see the merit of them but what works, works. The first one was the best!

Bad kitty is at it again! My 7 year old son loves bad kitty, and my husband and I get a chuckle out of the books as well. Bad kitty for president is a good introduction into our political system. These books are great fun to read together.

My son loves this series. It arrived on time and in good condition. It was enjoyed in just a few short days.
