NCLEX-RN Prep Plus 2018: 2 Practice Tests + Proven Strategies + Online + Video (Kaplan Test Prep)

Right now, I haven’t yet taken the NCLEX and I am using other study methods in conjunction. I’m giving a mediocre review sinmoly due to editing errors. I attached two photos. In on, the sentence highlighted in red seems to be missing a word. I can infer the meaning but it should have been fixed. In other, the answer key says answer 3 is correct, then marks and explains 2 as corrrect. These are just 2 examples of the errors I’ve found. I do like the entire first half of the book and study discussion tree, but I think this book maybe have benefited from an extra week of editing...

So Im studying for NCLEX and I see that front cover states 2 practice test and videos included online. I put in the the required information and it says online courses have been discontinued. How and why is it discontinued Its still 2018. I had previously purchased the NCLEX RN strategies and practice review and completed it but wanted to use the online tutorials which is the reason for buying the NCLEX- RN prep 2018. I have say that it is a scam. Im very disappointed because I used a similar kaplan book for my LVN NCLEX and found the online tutorials that were included with book purchase to be very beneficial. If you just want to use the resources and tools in the the book this is a good product, but if you want online benefits then you'll have to spend over 200 dollars to get practice tests, Q-bank, and online tutorials.

First, when you a buy this guide it says Online resources and video come with it but they don't. Second, I have 2011-2012 NCLEX-RN prep guide and this one is EXACTLY the same. I went through chapters and practice test questions and they are identical. I thought it would be updated in 7 years but it hasn't been. Return.

I was not able to install the digital book. Online chat with Kaplan and in less than 15 minutes issue resolved. Excellent CS. Great book for the NCLEX. Do no need to add nothing else to pass. Purchase Kaplan's questions bank and mock exam is needed.

I have only browsed the book so far, so I'll update it once I get into it further. But, inside the book it provides a link to access the online center through Kaplan. I was brought to a page and asked to enter the last word to a question and answer in the book. I provided it, but was told it was incorrect, so I'm unable to access the online center. I'm a little disappointed in that because I was wanting to try the practice test and watch some of the videos provided.
Otherwise, in my browsing of the book, there is a practice test with answers and rationales which are always helpful.

Loved this product! I’m a huge fan of Kaplan as prep for NCLEX as a whole. I only used their products to study from and passed my NCLEX-RN first try.
What I think is extra helpful about this resource is that there are little boxes throughout the chapters that serve reminders/tips about common pertinent information related to the topic in that section. Another feature I liked was the section in the back of the book that has the most common lab levels found on the NCLEX. I didn’t have any value on the exam that wasn’t in that section.
