One of my favorite books, ever !!!!!!

It's been years since I read this book, but I still remember all the main story lines.. It was even turned into a movie, short mini series, staring James Brolin, amoung a near totally British cast, but the film left so much out of the story, it did it NO Justice at all... Avoid the film.
I LOVED THIS BOOK... IT TOUCHED MY HEART, AND IT MADE ME HAPPY, IT MADE ME ACHE.
One simple untruth told, causes unseen repercussions that destroys other's lives, romantic futures, and overall happiness...
My saying any more than that will ruin it for dedicated readers... This may not be a wonderfully happy ending story, but the romance in it, was true and vivid. In the end, I remember the repercussions caused by this one careless white-lie, and my thinking: But oh, what could have been...?
Again, I truly loved it, as it was so real for me.. One simple lie...
How many untruths have you told in your life, and how did it ultimately affect others...? Possibly far, far more than you could imagine, if you even gave it any thought, at all, afterwards.
Read this book, and stick with it to the end....
